Ori Elan

Mr. Elan assists Mr. Giesen in all aspects of the firm’s stock selection process and portfolio management activities. Mr. Elan was recently equity analyst on the small cap value team at National City Bank. After a year in National City’s MBA rotation program, Mr. Elan was hired by Mr. Giesen in 2004 to analyze companies for investment opportunities and to create quantitative models to optimize portfolio management strategies.

Prior to joining National City in 2003, Mr. Elan was a financial analyst and chemical engineer at Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.

As a citizen of Israel, Mr. Elan served as a Field Commander and Staff Officer for the Israel Defense Force for four years. Mr. Elan is also a citizen of the United States and the United Kingdom. As an Andrew Grove Foundation scholar, Mr. Elan received his B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the City College of New York. He was Valedictorian of his graduating class. Mr. Elan received his MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
